Hualalai Academy recently hosted a summer musical theater summer camp. The hands-on experience, open to all West Hawaii youth, focused on the rehearsal, creation and production of a professional-style musical. Each student participated, under the guidance of mentors, in acting, singing, dancing, costume, scene and props.

The hands-on experience, open to all West Hawaii youth, focused on the rehearsal, creation and production of a professional-style musical. Each student participated, under the guidance of mentors, in acting, singing, dancing, costume, scene and props.
This year the production was of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians, Kids.” This year’s staff included Sue Boyum, Hualalai Academy performing arts teacher; Lee Vinson, an actor and choreographer with more than 20 years of experience; and Hadley Catalano, visual arts teacher.
